Emily the strange : Stranger and Stranger
n this second novel of the fantastic series of Emily the Strange, we are dealing with an even stranger situation than in the first one, as you could probably tell from the title of the book.
The chain of strange events begins when Emily is trying to make her invention - the Duplicator - work and she accidentally duplicates herself, and thus OtherMe is born. At first, the two girls are good friends, helping each other out, working together for their projects. Of course, Emily's mother doesn't want to accept the fact that her daughter has duplicated herself, so the existence of OtherMe is hidden - the two leave the room at turns. But, after a while, Emily is starting to realise that OtherMe has an evil personality and that there is a very strong possibility that she wants to get rid of her.
The story is, at times, very predictable. For instance, I pretty much figured out the fact that Emily and OtherMe are all just a half of the old Emily and can't be the REAL Emily if they don't figure out a way of reversing the duplication
